Janne Ersson Big Band

From Sweden. The only big band in Europe playing Buddy Rich charts with the authentic Buddy Rich Big Band Sound. The band is led by drumming supremo Janne Ersson with an 17-piece ensemble under his control. They have played every major festival in Europe and were recorded at the Stockholm Jazz Festival. Recently played a double bill with the Count Basie Orchestra in Copenhagen. This is one of the most successfull big bands in Scandinavia. Touring Europe and Australia in June, July and August 2012.

Bandet har spelat på dom flesta stora jazzfestivaler i Europa och gjorde nyligen en konsert med Count Basie Orchestra i Köpenhamn. Detta är förmodligen det mest omtalade och sluggeraktiga bandet i Skandinavien idag. Bandet turnerar i Europa i 2012
